What is Ledger Live Desktop?

Ledger Live Desktop is the official desktop application from Ledger that allows you to manage your Ledger Nano X or Ledger Nano S device. It provides a secure environment for sending, receiving, and tracking cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and many others—all in one place.

Step 1: Download Ledger Live Desktop

Always download Ledger Live from the official website to avoid phishing or fake apps:

Step 2: Install and Set Up Your Ledger Device

After installing Ledger Live Desktop:

• Connect your Ledger Nano X or Nano S.
• Set up a PIN code for extra protection.
• Write down and securely store your 24-word recovery phrase offline.

Important: Never share your recovery phrase. Ledger will never ask for it.

Step 3: Add Cryptocurrency Accounts
